Publish Home Page without having to request the users to "Make My Home" steps

Hello There, 

 

We would like to publish the home page without having to request the users to “Preview Home Page” and “Make this My Home”. Whatever is published in home page must be published automatically to the assigned users. I don’t see a way to do that in current setup.

    This is definitely a pain point for a customized Gainsight Home experience.

    The necessity for the User to take action--and actually somewhat unintuitive set of actions--to recognize Gainsight Home updates leads to Gainsight Home (1) being harder to support and (2) inconsistency in user experience, if the users don’t follow the prescribed steps.

    I used to publish those “Preview Home Page” > “Make this My Home” instructions every single week to my users, putting a focus on them when we did have customized Gainsight Home changes. My users joked that those were my most-repeated instructions to them.

    Making people their best....currently disguised as a CS Ops Architect. How can I contribute to your success?

    This particular issue has single-handedly derailed any attempt at a clean slate after our migration to a new SFDC instance as a backing data source. The inability to delete reports used in personalized GS Home has caused an uptick in tickets that has resulted in the same canned messaging of how to override it similar to what Matthew mentioned.
