🧩 Problem Statement
Gainsight PX currently offers a limited set of chart types for visualizing product analytics. However, it lacks support for stacked bar charts and other comparative visualizations that are essential for analyzing segmented data and usage patterns across multiple dimensions.
This limitation makes it difficult to:
- Compare feature adoption across user roles, accounts, or time periods.
- Visualize proportional relationships within a single metric.
- Present layered insights in a compact, executive-friendly format.
🎯 Proposed Solution
We request the addition of the following chart types to the PX reporting interface:
- Stacked Bar Chart
- 100% Stacked Bar Chart
- Stacked Column Chart
- Grouped Bar/Column Chart
- (Optional) Dual-axis charts for comparing metrics with different scales
These chart types should support:
- Grouping by two dimensions (e.g., feature + user role)
- Toggle between absolute values and percentages
- Custom color schemes and conditional formatting
- Tooltip and legend customization
📈 Business Impact
- Enables deeper insights into user behavior and feature adoption.
- Reduces the need to export data to external tools for advanced visualization.
- Supports better storytelling in product analytics and stakeholder reporting.
- Aligns PX with common data visualization standards in product-led organizations.
