Question and answer full text search

Currently, you can only search quizzes and question banks by name. This limitation has made it difficult for us to mass-update questions when a feature or terminology changes. We maintain 288 quizzes and 265 question banks, with nearly 1,000 questions, so manual changes are very slow.

Here are two examples:

1. We want to search all questions and answers for the phrase “All of the above,” which we imported into some of our question banks from a previous quiz system. This is currently impossible and requires checking every single quiz question manually. It is not even possible with the API.
2. We changed the term “feature caching” in our product to “data caching.” To avoid confusing users and to match our product UI, we would like to update all mentions of this term in our questions and answers. Again, that requires manually checking and updating every question and answer.

Some improvements that would help here:

• An additional tab in Quizzes for Questions that shows all questions and allows full text search.
• LIST and UPDATE API endpoints for quiz-questions
• Global full text search, which I will be submitting as another Idea soon
• Find and replace with quiz questions
  • Would also be useful globally, e.g., for text lessons or page text
