Rich Text Editor: Expanded List Controls for Custom Bullets (Square, Circle) and Alpha-Numeric Ordering (a, b, c / I, II, III)
Description: As a Senior Technical Writer, technical documentation heavily relies on multi-level nested lists to present complex workflows, step-by-step procedures, and categorization.
Current Pain Point: The current editor only supports basic dots (disc) for unordered lists and standard numbers (decimal) for ordered lists. Creating nested steps that require alphabetical numbering (a, b, c), Roman numerals (I, II, III), or visual variations such as hollow circles or solid squares requires manual inline CSS injection (list-style-type: ...).
Proposed Solution: Upgrade the List buttons on the toolbar to dropdown selectors offering:
- Unordered List Styles: Disc (Default), Circle (Hollow), Square.
- Ordered List Styles: Decimal (1, 2, 3), Lower-Alpha (a, b, c), Upper-Alpha (A, B, C), Lower-Roman (i, ii, iii), Upper-Roman (I, II, III).
Business Impact: Provides robust multi-level procedural list formatting directly out of the box, saving time on complex technical workflow articles.
