Rich Text Editor: Support Full Heading Hierarchy (H1, H4, H5, H6) in Knowledge Base Articles
Description: As a Senior Technical Writer, maintaining proper document structure, accessibility standards (WCAG compliance), and semantic HTML hierarchy is critical for our Community articles.
Current Pain Point: The current WYSIWYG editor toolbar only provides native options for H2 (Large) and H3 (Small). To create H1 titles, H4 sub-sections, or deeper nested topic levels, technical writers are forced to manually enter the HTML Source Code (</>) to wrap text in appropriate tags. This breaks the authoring flow, introduces human error across large documentation teams, and slows down article publishing.
Proposed Solution:
- Expand the Styles / Heading dropdown in the Rich Text Editor toolbar to natively include H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, and H6.
- Allow custom global CSS mapping so heading font sizes and margins remain uniform across published community articles.
Business Impact: Reduces article editing time by eliminating manual HTML edits and ensuring strict structural consistency across team authors.
