We came across a scenario where our data integration team was asked to develop a report on how much of record counts and dollar impact been matched per customer record on historical and incremental loads. We then found, since SAML enabled it was not a easy approach write backend python wrapper codes to get into the logs of rules engine and figure out the numbers after scheduled load executed.
In understanding itself its too complex in nature, however as Gainsight is one source of CSMs demanding every bytes of data collects millions of engagement to the truth of data. We need a secondary login solution for SAML system that overrides SAML but with login credentials super admins to allow successful login.
Ask here is, if login URL for Gainsight made dual will be more powerful to super admins.
For SAML logins url could be http://cloud.gainsight.com/
For SAML bypass using login credentials, URL could be http://cloud.gainsight.com/noredirect
There is another use case here where if there found to be SAML maintenance downtime on a weekend but Gainsight super admins wanted to move configs on same day will fail.
Can we have two way login option for SAML enabled Gainsight logins sooner the future? Can opt for Multi factor authentication generated with PW entry as additional security as any other system does.
