Schedule Send from CTA Email Assist Tasks

Our CSMs have requested the ability to schedule an email send from an email assist task in Cockpit. They have this ability via Gainsight Assist since they can schedule sends in gmail, but for tracking purposes there are many emails we prefer they send from cockpit. This is essential to fit our global customer base and show our customers we understand their schedules (even if they don’t always align with our flex working hours).

We have the exact same use-case and would greatly benefit from this enhancement. What workarounds have folks deployed?

That’s good to hear. Our team supports a global customer base and often uses their time effectively by preparing communication during ‘off-hours’ for the customers they support. Without this ability, they are forced to change their working hours to accommodate which has downstream impact across our org.

I will just add in our instance, we heavily rely on tokens within emails.  Since those do not populate in the gmail add-on, we need to use the Gainsight Assist email templates to have the right information in the emails we send.

Glad to see this moving forward, and very interested in a planned beta here!

Our CSXs and account reps (especially in regions outside the US) send a great deal of emails in languages other than English, and it’s very difficult for them to maintain CSV or Google Sheet distro lists of all of their accounts that prefer an alternate language for personal communications. It would be a huge improvement for them to be able to send emails straight out of Gainsight without having to submit ad-hoc 1x email requests for single-email JOs.
