I spoke with our SEO experts and they asked about Insided's ability to support search schemas. They offer a powerful way for us to highlight our forum content in search engines - both the breadth and depth of our conversations. Here's an example:  https://validator.schema.org/#url=affinity.co

I’d like support for this feature as soon as possible so we can improve our search results.

Hi @davetee, thanks for submitting your idea. Unfortunately we do not have it on all pages, but we have them for articles and answered questions. You can check this product update (Section: Structured Data for articles and unanswered questions). You can see an example at here. Are they good for your use case? What else do you want to see to add into scheme?

I’ll put this idea to 'open' to collect more votes and feedback.

Hi @dilekgencer  - I appreciate the resources. The SEO for articles, questions and answers is helpful, but I’d like it to go further. Specifically, I’d like to highlight content that’s helpful for users getting started with the community an our product. For example, knowledge base resources that address the top 5 issues experienced by new users.

Thanks!

Hi @davetee  - I suggest a further development idea concerning Schema Markup. Since there’s already schema for articles and answered questions, would it be easy to add also type: NewsArticle? I have use cases in mind where NewsArticle would be the best and most relevant schema type and could aim for visibility in Google news feeds.

@dilekgencer and others, any updates here? This idea and what @tanjakin writes above, is something we definitely need.
