Would like to see the ability to notify idea authors via email when they submit an idea can greatly enhance engagement and communication within the community. This feature would ensure that authors receive immediate confirmation and acknowledgement for their contribution, encouraging further participation.

Key Features will help:

  1. Email Notification on Submission: Automatically send an email to the author as soon as an idea is posted, confirming the submission.
  2. Editable Email Template: Admins should have the ability to customize this email notification to include personalized messaging, guidelines, or follow-up instructions specific to the community.
  3. Improved Author Experience: This feature would provide reassurance to authors that their idea has been received and is being considered, improving their overall experience in the community.

This would allow admins to tailor the communication and provide relevant information that aligns with the community’s values, increasing clarity and user satisfaction.

Example benefits:

  • Encourages authors to continue participating.
  • Reduces uncertainty about whether an idea has been successfully submitted.
  • Allows admins to set the right expectations from the start, possibly providing next steps or guidance.

Would love to hear other community members thoughts on this
