Sending a Bulk Private Message to a Large Group or the Entire Community

Hi,

In our Forum, sometimes we need to send a bulk message to a large group or even entire community.

Nowadays, it is only possible to send to 50 users at a time. It’s okay, if they are very specific messages and for very small groups.

But if we need to promote, highlight, alert, warn, change or communicate some content to a larger group or even to the whole community, the work becomes practically impossible and ungrateful for a communities with 50K, 100K or more users.

Despite being sporadic sending, which has a more personalized and engaging goal for each user in the community (also transmitting a feeling of uniqueness to each of them), I think it would be an improvement and added value for the proper functioning of the platform and forum.

As an alternative, at least the possibility of increasing to large number, for example 1000.

@daniel.boon hey I am actually looking for something like this as well. I am currently working on posting an event in the Community, and I would like to send a private message to all my users to notify them of the event so that they can see the email notification, and maybe engage with the event.

Also the previous user said that you can message 50 users at a time, but how can you do that? I have not found the option to do so in Control.

If you think of this like Slack, inSided has no equivalent to @ channel, everyone, or here. I think what folks are seeking is a way to notify en mass and bulk private messages would work. What I’d like to be able to do is quickly select all or particular users, then send a message.

@daniel.boon adding my use case for this functionality as well. I’d like to send bulk DMs to folks in certain verticals to join our Zapier user groups. We’ll have far more than 50 people but I like the idea of a “personalized” DM to them vs email.
