Simpler Ability to View Low Volume Object on the C360

On Low Volume objects, you need to add the GSID to a C360 report to be able to see the Edit/View action. This allows a CSM to click into the record to view further details and/or update the record. This is incredibly useful for CSMs. 

 

The only way to make the Actions visible however is by adding the GSID to the report. This is a bit weird and not very intuitive for admins. Can you create a way to add the Actions without the GSID so that it doesn’t clutter the report?

    Hello everyone,

    Love this conversation is so popular. new challenges with Horizon upgrade that we are facing. Please help us understand how the changes here will be implemented into the horizon C360. 

    AS of now per my testing within my own instance:

    1. We no longer have searchability into person records or user object. I would like to have a field that I can input “dar” and it pulls up form the user object Darshana Shah (name) and dshah15@vmware.com +++ if input “dshah” it should pull up Darshana shah (name) and dshah15@vmware.com this only occurs with company fields not for custom low volume object on horizon.
    2. ability to move around object and make rich text fields larger. Ability to change position during upgrade or enhancement of just development for CS teams
    3. remove deletion ability (this should be an option?) 
    4. Display versus edibility. Before we used to control it using GSID but now this no longer is there as you made GSID permeant causing all reports to be editable. USE CASE: the low-volume object needs to be able to allow end-user to create records and for them to view them using different fields. I want them to add email and role in and then through automation we will populate the rest within a report. so i want there to be a drop down of Add/edit versus View whole data set. 

    I have had some discussion with internal gainsight team members so would love to continue working through this to ensure when horizon C360/R360 is deploy we have some of these capability.
