ST: Add "Event Date" for Reports

If I’m on the Staircase Executive dashboard, and click on something like the “Churn risk Detected” tile, I get a report of accounts with a churn risk Insight in the last X days.

I would like to have in that report *when* that risk popped up. I know you can change the date range of the report in general, but if I’m looking at the last 90 days, for example, I might want to start with the oldest and work my way forward but it doesn’t seem possible.

You can add a boolean on if the insight was detected or not, but the filtering already handles that.

To be clear, this is something that should be available for any insight/topic, I’m just using Churn Risk as an example. Notably, the info IS available when you go to the account and dig into it, but it should be easier to surface.

One challenge with this, Bradley, is that when you click through, that goes to an account-level table and not an event table. We are almost done making the update to the lifecycle events report to include more details, including the date those events are fired. We are also having it be based on the new reporting system, which allows you to select any fields to filter or add as columns. In my mind, that would be the primary table where I would work with these events.

Insights are a bit different too, because they're a current state on the account. I guess we could pull the last lifecycle event date in at the account level for those items. One of the challenges is that insight cards on the executive dashboard are custom-created and custom-filtered by admins or users as they edit those dashboards.

I think the ask here is along the lines of a feature I want to build but haven't been able to prioritize. It would allow you to create an insight card and also create the table view that it jumps to the accounts overview table, and customize which columns show up there. It would allow admins to curate a richer experience for users. Do you think that is the ideal solution for this? Otherwise, it would be really hard to include every field in that table that would apply to any click-through from an insights card. It needs to be custom designed, from my POV. But maybe I’m missing something.

Yea, I hear you that it’s an account and not event table, so it’s not as easy as just adding a new column, as the account could have multiple ‘churn risk’ events. I think even a “most recent” detected date would help - something to give a sense of then it happened.

At the end of the day - the idea is to close the navigation gap from ‘account insight’ to the insight itself. Maybe even another option to have event tables as the cards, but like Gainsight cs you can have a “count of” widget, but the drilldown is the individual records itself.

I’m not really sure I understand this “ It would allow you to create an insight card and also create the table view that it jumps to the accounts overview table, and customize which columns show up there. It would allow admins to curate a richer experience for users.” - my internal visualizer is failing me :p

Clarifying:

what if as an admin/user, you not only set the fields and filters that are considered in the aggregate shown in the insight card, but you also define what fields should be in the click through table?

So if you create an insight cards based on Risk Level is 3+… you could have its click through table also have the accounts’ last churn risk event date, its Risk Analysis summary, its health, sentiment and engagement score.. its last engagement date..

You would get to pick what click through fields show on the accounts overview table
