Subscription info

Currently we show a difference in the button when you are subscribed to Product Updates/ a category vs. not subscribed

Are you looking for a success message for when a user subscribes/unsubscribes from any given category/Product Updates, or a centralised place where a user can see all their subscriptions? 

I would see both. 

When you click on the button, I would like to get footprint of such an action. It could be a pop-up, a message, so I am notified about the enabled subscription.

Secondly, I would like to see all areas I subscribed to. I would like to have a list, so it is easy for me to manage my notifications volume. At the moment it is a manual work to go to the specific category and see the button design.

We’re currently going through the process of thinking and designing a centralised area where users could see and manage all their subscriptions.

Initially the focus would be on subscribing and managing Product Areas (shared between Product Updates and Ideas), but in a next iteration we can investigate the feasibility of including Category subscriptions too and adding alert messages for when a user clicks to subscribe to a category in each category page.

Just to ensure we are on the same page, I would also add for a next iteration adding alert messages for when a user clicks to subscribe also to any of the Product Areas.
