Success plan copy feature

Hey Product team,

I would like to formally request for a copy feature for the objective within success plan. I was part of the success plan beta testing and did not see this feature. However I have discussed this enhancement previously and thought it would have been added to the new success plan. 

USE CASE: We do a new success plan every year with annual goals are clients are working on. This helps us understand what our clients are working for the year and how to direct our marketing, product, etc. efforts for the year. So in order to make this easier it would be great if we could do a copy feature for the objectives and/or full success plan.

    Thank you for sharing the use case. Cloning Success Plan feature is in our short term roadmap. When cloning a success plan, is there a use case to 1) copy timeline entries made on objectives and 2) copy timeline entries made on success plan.

      Not sure we need the timeline entries copied. The main use case for success plan copy features is being able to “copy” objective from one success plan to another and “copy” the plan info page.

       

      As our client success executives create annual success plans for our clients, we want to make sure if a client wish to move the deadline to an existing objective to the next year, the transition of that objectives seamless for our end user.

        Thank you for clarifying. Another question. Do you want copy objectives from success plan based on their status ? such as copy only open/in progress objectives. Or would you use any other criteria to filter and copy the objectives within the success plan. Clone success plan is in our short term roadmap.

          Hi @sai_ram 

          Will part of this “copy” feature enhancement include cloning all of the success plan, including plan info? Can you define “short term” road map and the timeframe in which this will be released?

          @sai_ram Hey so sorry for the delayed response not enough time in a day. 

           

          Yes! we should clone only open objective. no i can’t think of any other criteria that would make sense in a this use case.
