Thanks for sharing this idea @tal.m! We do already offer code blocks with formatting for HTML, Bash, and Python - are these okay for you in their current form, or are you missing something around them.
We indeed don’t have support for Yaml or Powershell at the moment, however.
Also tagging a related question from @Kseniya:
Definitely seconding the recommendation for Powershell! All of our scripts for our product will need to be in Powershell and they currently can’t set that as a language.
I’ll add to this, being a tech forum we have a lot of users who post code! I’d try to explain what is needed, but I this this post probably explains it way better than I can!

One of my requests is that the next platform allow customers to add custom programming languages to the code block feature. This could be existing languages like PowerShell or proprietary ones like my company’s network query script. The link A11ey shared highlight’s another potential custom code language for log files and other output that requires specific formatting.
If you have opinions on how you’d like the next editor to handle code, I encourage you to complete the survey in the conversation I mentioned above.

I am unable to access the link for that survey but adding that our company has a need to share YAML configured code. Improving the content editor experience would go a long way in this.
