Support SFDC dependent picklists for SFDC linked objects in NXT

Hi Team,

 

Posting this request on behalf of customer.

In NXT edition say for instance if we used SFDC custom object named XYZ as linked object for a CTA and this object has dependent picklists where in controller field selection controls the values of dependent picklist , loses its functionality in detail view layout when this object is used as linked object.

Because of this, end user ends up seeing all the available picklist values of the field instead of controller based dependent values making the customer lose the SFDC functionality in Gainsight.

 

This is a genuine use case and hope to see this enhancement in the product soon.

    Thank you Jagadeesh. We understand the use case and we will be observing for more upvotes. We are also planning this in the medium term roadmap.

      Agreed. We utilize case record types in SF that have different values for Status field depending on the record type, but we are unable to utilize the Status field when it’s brought into Gainsight due to the poor user experience created by having so many irrelevant Status values.

        @jagadeesh_kumar_paidimarri  I am running into an issue with a linked record on CTA when creating that the dependent value is not populating at all. We are in NXT version. This is going to cause a blocker for us with a process that we are basing off of “Realized Outcomes” we have worked with GS on developing based on GS’s processes.
