In Survey 2.0 while designing, Is there a way, where we can restrict to select upto 3-4 max answers for Multiple choice questions? And then in Next question we can display select answer?

Currently users can select random number for multiple choice question (if there is any option to restrict)

Eg:- There are 10 options and wanted only max 3 to be selected by customer and not more than that, if he select total 4 option then it give error (you can select only 3)

In attached image Scenario is :-

There are questions in survey, is there a way where we can set up the question where it only allows you to select up to 3 checkboxes maximum (in qu 2) and then in qu 3 only those 3 selected in qu 2 are displayed?

Hi Gourav,

Thanks for this. Yes, I would like to be able to add a question where I can change the limit on how many multiple-choice selections a user can have by limiting the number of checkboxes. If I set the limit as 3 I would then intend for the rest of the options to have the checkboxes greyed out and not be able to select (as you see on many other surveys) Don’t give the user an error message, that would not be a great user experience, just grey them out if possible.

Then on the following question, which will relate to the one before, I would like for the selected options, whether it be 1,2 or 3, or more if the limit is higher, to display here and not the whole list of options again (because it only refers to the 3 they selected in the question before).

Please let me know if you have any other questions on this.

Thanks
Emily

@ewalsh and @Gourav Thanks for bringing this here! We have this in our product road-map. I will update you here once we consider this for release.

Changing the Status accordingly.

Hi @sai_ram

Do we have any update on this idea? It's been 2 years and we don’t see any information about it.
Is Gainsight working on including it in coming-up releases?

It improves the user experience and helps to restrict users to select limited options.

How is this not a real feature yet? Even the most basic forms have this functionality.
