We use Associated Records in Timeline Activities to connect activities to existing CTAs.   Previously, we could only create associated timeline activities to CTAs if timeline activities were created from within the CTA.  When searching CTAs to associate - only CTAs that are “Work In Progress” are available.  CTAs in “New” Status do not show.  I think including New CTAs would improve the user experience with this feature greatly. 

Possibly related - we only really use Timeline and CTAs at the Relationship level - although they do all show on the C360 Timeline and Cockpit as well.
