It would be great to have the ability for timeline entries to be pushed out to Slack channels. We have an internal process where by we keep everyone involved on the customer account updated on customer communications and engagements.
Currently there are two approaches to this by different CSMs.
- Create timeline entry, send it as email and email it to the Slack channel’s email address so it posts into Slack as an email.
- Send a Slack message into the channel with meeting notes and use Gainsight Sally to then post it to Timeline. There are too many clicks and required edits to format it into timeline. Also you lose the ability to create CTAs by adopting this approach (I think from memory)
