Tool Tip/Help Text for Fields in C360

For fields added to the Attributes section of the C360 (Gainsight native or from SFDC), it would be helpful to have the ability to add help text similar to SFDC to help users better understand what field uses are.

      Thank you for the feedback. We do have plans to enhance the UX for C360 and make it more intuitive. We will definitely consider this when we start working on it.

        Isn’t this possible with a Description added to the field within Attributes section when setting up the C360 layout?

        And the field has a little “i” next to it that will display the description when hovered over.

        that is avail in the NXT platform…..we are on the SFDC platform right now

        @john_apple  that link is talking about naming attribute sections not fields. We want to be able to hover over a field and see help text…..

        The Description entry turns into text that is visible when someone hovers over the field.

        1. Description: Enter a description for the field.

        yes, it will definitely help a lot to easily identify which field was selected.

        Is this something that was ever implemented?

        It would be great if the field description could be made viewable to end users when they hover over a field. Our use case isn’t limited to the C360 fields though--we have fields in the CTA and Success Plans that could also benefit from this feature. It all stems from the fact that there is a short 45 character limit on field display names, which doesn’t allow room to add descriptions or context in some cases.

        This looks to be implemented, at least in an Attributes section of the C360.

        Editing any of the attributes fields in the C360 configuration page lets you add a description (help text) to the field, which allows you to view the help text on the C360 layout.
