Track Usage of Email Templates

Hi Team,

Do we have any plans of tracking the usage of email templates that are used via Gmail/Outlook Plugin?

It will be great to have some stats around the usage of these templates.

Right now, as an admin I don’t have any visibility on how the templates are being utilised by the team (or even if they are being utilised or not).

      ​@arunabhat, is there any update on where this might be in the roadmap?

      Can we get an update on this? Would be very curious to hear how this might be implemented, especially with the upcoming Group Send feature. There’s a huge need for template tracking. Our CSMs use a different tool for sending customizable templates, and it’d be fantastic to consolidate those tools (sooner rather than later).

      Even before it launched, this was a huge need, as we build more templates that will be leveraged outside of JO. Our team will likely be leveraging Email Assist heavily in the coming months, and it’d be fantastic to be able to report on template usage. I’m almost at a loss as to how this isn’t a thing, actually. 🤔

      another upvote! my team recently has started leveraging a template via the Assist Outlook plugin. We’re able to report on the timeline entry that the email was logged to (assuming “log to timeline” was enabled). It would be better to report that the template was used via the plugin vs reporting on the TL activity

      We would love this as well! My team recently switched from a tool that gave them this access, and are struggling with not having system parity and being able to do it in Gainsight.
