Context
Action Controls for buttons (and maybe other features) in some PX engagements allow you to trigger other actions:
Idea
As a PX Admin…
When I am designing user journeys and engagement workflows
I want to trigger another engagement based on conditional actions in the first engagement
In order to personalize engagement experiences across personas and/or engagement responses
Expected Results
- Better experience for the end user
- Easier administration and facilitation for PX admins and strategists
While, this is currently possible using the Redirect to URL action and then specific URL parameters in the Audience criteria of engagement B, the process is complex and introduces a lot of variables that could compromise execution.
This feels like it should be a lot easier.
Ideal Solution
Two parts:
- An additional trigger type for engagements, similar to the KB or badge triggers
- The ability to trigger an engagement from an action within the first engagement
- the Action Controls above
- Conditional branches actions in the first engagements
