Hey Guys,



As our users often make use of the picture upload feature, there's a growing demand for additional functionality on this point.



As it stands, images are uploaded in a fixed size, following their original aspect ratio. Especially when a user has posted several print screens this makes for quite a long and unreadable post. Therefore, we'd love to see the option to resize images implemented(i.e. by dragging corners).



Who's with me on this? I know this would appeal to any photography centered communities as well. 🙂

Hey @banthonisz - this is something we’re definitely interested in adding to the editor - I don’t currently have a concrete timeline to share, but I’ll be sure to update the status of this idea when we start working on it.

Good to know it’s high priority for you. I can imagine it’s not easy to document a mobile app when screenshots of the app take up so much height in the topic...

I’m happy to share that we’ve delivered this idea - see the announcement for more details and an experimental, festive demonstration of how it can be used.

@daniel.boon You marked this as delivered but if I’m not wrong this only applies to the Control WTSIWTG and not the user editor when creating topics/ replies. I find myself resizing images before uploading which is painful!

Yeah I would to see the option where user can adjust the image size (desktop / mobile). Now all the images are only and mostly huge.
