I'd like to be able to have a recipient answer a survey question with a date. i.e. The question is "can you give us an estimated target completion date?". I'd like to be able to collect a date object from that response so I can trigger time-centric CTAs. I'm collecting a text field now that at least gets me the info but if I could collect a date field I think I could take it a step further.
I have over 40 clients in GS and often make an update to multiple client sites at once. Is there a way to mass update the accounts in GS with the changes made? We are encouraged to keep notes in GS for our clients but if I have to go into 40 Timelines to post the exact same update, it is ridiculously time consuming. Suggestions?
Hey all 👋🏻We’re in the middle of our Staircase implementation and have already received feedback from some of our CS leaders around the lack of customization for some areas of the Staircase account view. Namely:The inability to hide standard fields from the overview section at the top (i.e., Journey Phase, APP ID, etc.) that we’re not planning to have loaded to at this moment. Not sure if this would fall under the idea here Inability to remove specific engagement types (i.e., Chats) that we don’t utilize and thus will never have data for. Our users are much more accustomed to the configuration options with CS and would love to see this flexibility expanded to Staircase. Appreciate it!
Gainsight should provide an ability to pin, star & clone an activity on Timeline.
Right now, you have an option to sync participants daily, weekly, and monthly. We would like to send a quarterly summary out and it would be great to have the choice of quarterly added as well to this
Is there a way that we can toggle off this emoji? It’s not being well-received by my end users, who view it as unprofessional.
Right now, the existing integrations in CE and CC will write information to Gainsight CS. When will the integrations be bi-directional, to get customer/user data to flow into CE and CC?I believe there are current workarounds but this isn’t documented anywhere When will the integrations be able to work without the workarounds?
I have a bunch of groups that are no longer active but the only option I have now to remove the group is to delete it entirely. However, you can’t delete a group if there are posts in it, so you have to remove the posts before you can delete it. I don’t want to delete the group but it’s the only option to remove old groups. Therefore, I’d love for there to be a way to Archive Groups so we can still see them and who was in them on the backend, but once they are archived, the members get removed from them so it no longer shows up in their Groups.
I recently made a post and had to tag 56 people individually - it would be cool if I @’d a specific group in one of my discussion forums for everyone in that group to get tagged.
One more interesting use case in timeline, most of the customers are interested in creating time line activity via rules.
When sharing a report with customers through Spaces, they can add/update the filters on the report. In the process, they can see all fields on the object used in the report (and all objects accessible through lookups). It is not desired that customers know all data points we have on a Company/Relationship, for example. By playing around with the filters (e.g, using > on numeric fields and changing the limit iteratively), they could even figure out what the value of a field is. Definitely not desired!
Can we replicate the functionality google and other commenting sites have trained users on? You have received this email because you are subscribed to all discussions on ROI SP Tracking Aug 2019. Change what Google Docs sends you. You can reply to this email to reply to the discussion. (empahsis mine) Gainsight already knows the context and which timeline entry to post to. Is this on the roadmap? ETA?
I have been talking to a customer who would like to have the ability to allow at least the people who were tagged in the message to be able to add notes or modify the text in the Timeline view.
Gainsight Admins should be able to “push” views to Timeline, the same way they can Cockpit views today. Here are a few use cases:Authored by Current User and Company is not managed as Customer Help CSMs find activities where they selected the wrong account and update with the correct account information Creating a view for all accounts within a hierarchy Helps CSMs with complex account hierarchies find all Timeline activities for the parent and child accounts
Would be great as an admin if there was a view of the Global Timeline that would show me all the drafts. We are heavy users of email to timeline, and anytime I need to troubleshoot why an email didn't attach, I wind up having to become the user with the problem in order to troubleshoot. Would love to be able to see all the drafts without having to take that extra step.
Right now, CSMs have to add a lot of the same information into Timeline Activities when they're creating them for the same account. A lot of them have requested that they be cloneable and then editable (similar to the functionality for rules).
It would be nice if there were a way to change the date format on community posts. For example, from “1 month ago” to “12-30-2025” or something similar. This could be a setting in control for the community or a personal setting for each user or both. (A community wide default customizable for each user)
