Activate your users with various gamification elements so that they become active and engaged as quickly as possible.

In this guide:

  • Configure badges
  • Configure ranks
  • Configure points

Configure badges

Everyone likes their contributions to be recognized. Creating a stylish set of badges is a great way to reward individual members, and to show off your community''s flair.

Badges come in two flavours: Automatic & Manual. Automatic badges are handed out to community members when they reach certain levels of activity in the community. Manual badges can be handed out by the community team or via API. Learn how to configure badges

Configure ranks

Want to keep your community members coming back for more? Create a system of ranks to create a sense of progression and status on your community, in order to encourage both new and old contributors to stay active. Create the first set of ranks in the control environment. Make sure to include a rank for your moderators so they will be easily recognisable as well. Learn how to configure ranks.

Configure points*

*This feature is only available in the business and enterprise package

A points-based leaderboard is a great way to identify, highlight and motivate active users. In this article, you can learn how to configure your own point values, configure the dedicated leaderboard page, and set up leaderboard widgets on the homepage for different user roles (e.g. one for your customers, another for your employees).
