Hi Scott - I have a couple things, both of which will hopefully be quick.

  1. Real-time rules - I have a few attributes that load back to Salesforce, and I’d like to move this to real-time rules. Do I need to create a different real-time rule for each attribute? Or can I cram them all in one rule and just have a different action for each one? I’ll share my screen on the call to explain more.
  2. The “URL” field in Data Management - We have a requirement coming down from our Salesforce team where they’re going to start only displaying “amazon.com” in the website field instead of “http://www.amazon.com” for example. Because Gainsight’s URL field requires either “http://” “https://” prefixes, I was thinking of just hardcoding this and concatenating with what SFDC feeds us. Just wanted to check to see if you think that’s a viable solution or if you know of any gotchas I should be aware of.

Good morning!

Not sure if I will be joining today’s meeting but wanted to know what you found out about Unsubscribe message within Email Templates.

Thank you,

DI

JO Question :

When participant enters a program from a segment that we create for renewals, I need the participants to drop from the program when they renew. the date of the contract updates in the object. will the program read the object info, or the segment info that is in the program?

Hi Scott,

I have an email template with link tracking enabled.  This template is used in the GS Assist Outlook plugin.  I have a clone of the template that is used in a JO Program.  I have a DD that combines the Email Raw Events with the company person to report on this data.  In that report I see the links clicked from the template sent out through the JO but not from the template sent through the Outlook plugin.  I have sent this to my personal email and clicked all the links.  The links work but none of the clicks are in my report.  Does link tracking work if the email is sent through Outlook when a GS Assist template is used?  If so, what object do I need to report off of?

Thanks,

Rhonda

Scott,

2 reports using the same Source Object Salesforce HP Cases - Count Distinct of SF Case #

  • 1 shows the Case once which is correct - HP SF Cases - Open Di Testing
  • 1 shows the Case number multiple times - HP Open Cases # V

Results should be the first bullet point.

Thank you,

Di
