Hi Scott,

 

I’ve rebuilt our NPS JO Program and have run into 2 snags:

  1. The thank you for responding emails are not going out right away (seem to be meeting the criteria to be sent at 11 hour intervals)
  2. The program is not giving any errors but it’s also not publishing

I’m trying to find the response rate for a subset of our NPS participants and want to get your thoughts on the best way to approach that. I think I’m making it harder than it ought to be.

Hi Scott,

 

I have 3 person records that need to be merged but they do not match on email.  The records were merged in SF into one record which is the active Company Person record in GS.  There are 2 inactive Company Person records as a result of the merge.  The merged records still have separate Person records.  We see all 3 records when we use the Global search for person because it seems to pull up inactive Company Persons as well.  I’d like you help in how I would merge these company person and person records.

Hi Scott, I have 2 rules, and they are overwriting each other. I need to ensure that on the People object I can tell 3 different fields apart from each other without them overwriting each other because they all populate to the same place.


Trying to add a Company Person lookup field on a C360 attributes page, can’t seem to get it to stay within the company itself - looking to explore any other options around this!

@sdrostgainsightcom one other thing.  I had a note from a previous office hours where you talked about the merge process that the merged records are deleted.  In the documentation it says “Note: The duplicate records from the merge process are deleted and only the winning record is retained.”  https://support.gainsight.com/gainsight_nxt/People_Management/Admin_Guides/Manual_Person_Merge

Does that just refer to the person record?  It doesn’t say anything about the Company person record. It would be good to add that the company person related info is retained to the documentation.

@sdrostgainsightcom - I figured out why the program wasn’t publishing. Using the same name for steps (even in different branches) is an issue. So while the triangle doesn’t appear, the program refuses to publish. That’s one mystery solved. I’ll await the result of your internal search on response emails being sent sooner than 11 hours without using the Event Framework model.
