Thursday US Admin Office Hours (CS Platform): July 23, 2026 - 11am PT / 12pm MT / 1pm CT / 2pm ET - Pre-session Thread

Hi Scott, I’d like to finish the set up to sync emails from the SFDC activity to GS Timeline. I also have some questions on Global filters on a dashboard I’m building.

Hi ​@nsimon !  Finally have a concrete answer on the SFDC Activity to Timeline sync -- the sync jobs are triggered each day at 1am UTC (mid-to-late evening our time).

Note that (if I’m correctly recalling), this is triggered across all tenants, so trying to time things for exactly 1am UTC -- however, like Connector sync jobs, each time these jobs run, they pick up Modified Dates from SFDC since the previous successful run.

And final note -- confirm that the “Managed As” field on Company is set to Customer for all your Active Company records -- this is by design, since there are often use cases where full hierarchies of SFDC Accounts are being pulled into GS, but the Task sync isn’t desired for them all (screenshot below)

Hello ​@rmendiola !  Apologies, I believe you were trying to get into the session yesterday and got stuck in the Zoom Waiting Room -- I was having some trouble with either keyboard or bandwidth and wasn’t able to let you in.

However, you don’t need to formally register for Tues/Thurs Admin Office Hours.  I post either the night before or the morning of with the Zoom info, etc. -- I recommend that you:

• Subscribe to this topic so you get notifications when I post (and yes, when my colleagues post here as well, but relatively low-volume since we only post Office Hours and Training info here).
• If you have a chance, post your question as a reply after I’ve put my post up -- gives me a chance to review (sometimes) before the session, and I go through the posted questions before going into complete free-for-all mode!

Again, apologies for not getting you into the session yesterday, but look forward to seeing you here next week on Tues or Thurs!
