I’ve created a rule that syncs data from the Account Program Record object in Salesforce to the Account Program Record object in Gainsight. I’m now trying to set up the sync BACK to Salesforce via another rule but the Account Program Record object is not in the list.

I want a milestone created when when the ‘Launch Handoff Stage’ = Assigned and also when when the ‘Launch Handoff Stage’ = Transacting. I started a rule to create a Milestone when the ‘Launch Handoff Stage’ = Assigned but if the Milestone rule runs daily, how do I prevent it from creating the Milestone event again every day when the filter matches?

Happy I could help ​@nsimon  -- an a follow-up question to your Timeline sync question: 

Are you wanting to sync the GS Timeline Activities to the SFDC Activities table but make sure that if there are attachments on the Timeline entry, that attachment gets carried into SFDC with the Activity? 

If so, there is an Out-of-box integration for Timeline-to-SFDC with a checkbox to include the attachments as attachments in SFDC.

Go to this article here and give it a look -- search the doc for “attachment” to find the specifics, but it is a short doc about setting up the Timeline-to-SFDC sync.  NOTE -- using this feature has limited flexibility for what you can/cannot map over, but the attachment part of it does work.

Hello ​@nsimon -- here’s the documentation for Calculated Fields -- unfortunately, all screenshots are from the older, legacy version of JO, but for the most part, the steps are the same, and the overall concept of creating a “Calculated Field” -- which is a terrible name -- is the same -- you are creating a “map” for the JO program to go back into Gainsight for each participant to find out what the current value of a certain field is on that Participant’s Company, or Case, or other record, and then decide what to do with it.

Hope that helps -- probably enough to get you started with and I’m betting you’ll figure it out from there, but if you trip over something goofy vs. expected behavior or results while setting it up, jump on the Tuesday office hours!
