Hi Scott, hope you are well.

I would like to take your thoughts around the feasibility of pushing the Microsoft Teams Chats into Gainsight. What would be the best way to achieve this? Thanks.

Scott,

Having trouble with Identified Risk Rule - which should Only change the SF Temp from Red to Green - when there are No Open Identified Risk CTAs.  This is a Rule, you helped me work in the past, but still having an issue.

Thank you,

Di

Testing a proof of concept via Gainsight External APIs.  I can successfully return a response using the default input of Email Address.

Question about whether we can pass additional filters/parameters in the GET request and if yes, how to format that request:

Fetch Person

API Documentation link: https://support.gainsight.com/gainsight_nxt/API_and_Developer_Docs/Person_API/People_API_Documentation#Get_Person_API_with_Email

Request/Endpoint:

https://cventnxt.gainsightcloud.com/v1/peoplemgmt/v1.0/people?Email=firstname.lastname@cvent.com

Method: GET

Can I pass in additional filters/parameters?  How to format those?

Specifically:
SfdcAccountId
SfdcContactId

Additional question re: Throttling limits for Gainsight APIs …

Hi Scott, I’m not sure if I can stay for the whole call.  Looking for a way to set a Timeline View for the entire Provider team that excludes Milestones created by System Admins.  I have sent out direction for them to create their own views but leadership would like me to control their views for them.  I can’t find a way to set this up in C360 or Timeline Administration.  Any ways around this?  A help article would work if so.  Thanks! - Serena

Hello @speacher -- sorry I didn’t catch you while you were on the session on Thursday!

Short version, no, there is not a way to control Timeline views on the native Timeline tab.

However, if the Provider team only needs to see Timeline entries and not create or add/read reply threads, you could give the team a different layout that doesn’t include the timeline tab, but instead includes a report tab with the Timeline report you want on there (and you can lock the filters).

Is the issue that they aren’t allowed to see the SysAdmin-created milestones?  or that these auto-created milestones are cluttering the view?

Hope that helps -- and you can add your 2 cents to this product request here (I’ll nudge product team internally with this request thread as it is so popular):

It’s the cluttered view that they don’t like.  They like the Last 5 Timeline Activities on the Summary tab but want those activities to be relevant to actual Rep interractions versus System Admin generated ones.  I have a timeline report they can use as well.  I’ll discuss with them using that versus the Widget.  I’ll upvote that request.  Thank You!
