Hi Scott, we are trying to run a single program that includes Emails and Px engagements but some of our users do not have a PX User Id so we are facing the issue of needing to run 2 separate programs, we’d like to see if there is a way around this in a single program. @vvadas

Hi Scott, I think I was taking notes (obviously not good ones) and not watching close enough to how you were building out the real time rule. Gainsight Support said that real time rules is enabled for Call to Action but I am not seeing it.  Can we walk through the rule setup again?  Thanks!  Nathaniel

Hi Scott

I need to create and external action (post to slack on NPS results) but have a problem with creating the API script for that.
Will you be able to help on the call please?

Thank you.

Hi Scott, I have a question regarding the Activity Attendee] and Email Raw Events] objects. In a previous meeting we had discussed how challenging it was to pull incremental data from these objects via API, to replicate the data to our Azure data lake. Since then, Support has provided a very reasonable solution, we’re good there.

But we found a new challenge. Neither of these objects appears to have a primary key field (or fields, plural), not like the other GS objects have a GSID field. So while I can pull incremental data, I can’t tell if that record already exists in Azure to update it, or if it doesn’t exist then I should create a new record.

Any suggestions? If I can’t find a solution then I have to replicate both objects in their entirety every time which would be super wasteful and time consuming.

Want to confirm behavior of Success Plan Sharing when OTP and Expiration settings are turned OFF.

  1. Is the shared SP link persistent indefinitely?
  2. Can any external user access the SP using the shared link?  Or will it still only work for the original recipient who exists as a Person in MDA?

Thx.

Hi Scott, I was recently auditing my active users and found 2 anomalies because we don’t use the “External” license type.

  • 1 internal user (email address is from our corporate domain) with “External” license type - How does such a user even get activated?
  • 1 external user (email address is from customer’s email domain) with “External” license type - How do these get into the system? In our business process we don’t yet collaborate with our customers on Gainsight, but how do we systematically block this from happening?
