Please submit your questions below as replies to this post in advance if you can, and we'll address them during the session (or if there’s a quick answer available, we’ll post as replies to the questions).

There is no need to register for these sessions - you can join at any time. Once the session is underway, I will go in order of questions posted below first, then field questions from anybody else who has joined as well. Look forward to talking with you!

  • Can we extend how long the calendar integration goes back in time? Currently, only goes back a month
  • Clickable alerts in Gainsight pull to GS browser vs SFDC, can that be updated so those alerts pull to the GS instance in SFDC?

Can you show me how to manually override a health score to force it red?  Hopping on the call now.

A quick note for those wanting to join admin office hours today when I didn’t have connectivity -- I am now able to connect and have started up the Zoom session again as of the half-hour mark.  Thank you for your patience and see you soon!

Scott

I had a call overlap but I can hop on now.

I was unable to get back into the meeting

AH HA!  Found the info, @maddisonrichter , for having the links in notifications default for your SFDC logthrough to Gainsight rather than the direct URL.

This is actually a back-end setting for your tenant, so you will have to open a support ticket for the request:  give them your tenant ID (found on your Application Settings page) and ask that the “Default SF Hybrid Notification Preference” be set to “Salesforce” -- that should take care of it.  Sorry I couldn’t pull that one out of memory during the session earlier, but glad could track it down.  Reply here with any questions!

Hello @speacher -- sorry to hear you weren’t getting back onto the session -- a couple others joined back again so I figured everyone was back that could get back -- I’m just working off my laptop so the notification that you’d jumped back on may not have landed on top of my other open browser windows.

Hopefully this writeup gets you rolling with a manual override option for end users on scorecards:

First, create the manual scorecard measure you want to use as an override measure (“CSM Sentiment” or something).

Add the measure to your scorecard.  You can give it a weighting toward the overall score if this measure is supposed to contribute when Green or Yellow and then override when Red -- or you can give it 0% weighting and ONLY use it to override per your rules.

Then, click on the “Exceptions” button and create the rule you want to force a different Overall Score when a certain measure or measures are set to certain scores.

See my screenshots below -- in my case, it is a simple “when Sentiment measure is Red, set the overall score to Red”.  Notice that you can create more complex “Exception” rules as well.

FINAL NOTE -- you can always test something like this by creating a new scorecard and assigning it to a single Test customer in your instance, so you can get a sense of how it works for the end user.

Hopefully that gets you rolling with this -- again, sorry for the issues with internet today -- on Thursday I’m back home so the Thursday session will happen as usual!
