. . . and transferring over @justo.casablanca ‘s reminder to me to get the thread started!
The post for today has not been started so here are my questions:
I have 2 bionic rules that I believe are not needed, want to review with you. If not needed then I am going to delete them rather than convert them to Horizon.
Review: How to find out which accounts have turned from non-red to red recently. I have a prototype data designer that we can walk thru for feedback / corrections.
JO email templates – preview is not selecting the right template ’version’, what am I doing wrong? I also submitted a support case # 305171 Sandbox: 2 Problems with JO Email Program.
JO email templates – I published the program and all participants failed due to invalid template id, what am I doing wrong? I also submitted a support case # 305171 Sandbox: 2 Problems with JO Email Program.
Hi Scott,
I’m hoping to understand if there is a way to determine what day a JO program is on? I’ve read through this article however, the program that I’m interested in has been paused and restarted a couple of times.
Hi Scott,
I have a rule with criteria before the action. The logic is evaluating 1 field called “Has Pkg” for all the data and then 6 combinations of the data as OR statements. The last combination in the criteria (Q, R, and S) are not being evaluated. The records that meet that criteria are in the merge data that the action is running off of. I have tried to change the order of the criteria to put the “Has Pkg” criteria first and also last. Neither combination works. I’m not sure how to get this logic to work.
Current Logic
All records = Has Pkg is Yes
and
Combo 1 = B & C & D
or
Combo 2 = E & F & G
or
Combo 3 = H & I & J
or
Combo 4 = K & L & M
or
Combo 5 = N & O & P
or
Combo 6 = Q & R & S
I set the filter logic to this:
((A AND (B AND C AND D) OR (E AND F AND G) OR (H AND I AND J) OR (K AND L AND M) OR (N AND O AND P) OR (Q AND R AND S))
And Gainsight changes it to this:
((A AND B AND C AND D) OR (E AND F AND G) OR (H AND I AND J) OR (K AND L AND M) OR (N AND O AND P) OR (Q AND R AND S))
I also have a question about Sandbox refresh if we have time.
Thanks,
Rhonda
Hi Scott,
Veronica’s question made me think of the following scenario:
JO program is published
I need to apply an enhancement or bug fix, but you can’t update a JO while it’s active or paused
You also can’t restart a JO once it is stopped
So is the only option to stop the JO, clone it, make your edits on the clone, publish the clone?
What about the participants that were part-way thru the stopped JO? Potentially they might re-enter too early or too late, in the cloned JO.
Let’s say a participant was on step 3 of 5 in the stopped JO, won’t the participant restart on step 1 in the cloned JO?
Working on submitting Events via API and need some assistance:
Hi Scott - I’d like to calculate response rates for a survey our CSMs are sending out of Gainsight. My first thought was to use Data Designer to merge Email Logs V2 and Survey Results but not sure where to go from here to do a calculation. Would love help with the next step or thinking through a process for calculating a response rate. Thanks!
Scott,
The change we made to the advanced logic did not pull in the expected records.
(A AND ((B AND C AND D) OR (E AND F AND G) OR (H AND I AND J) OR (K AND L AND M) OR (N AND O AND P) OR (Q AND R AND S)))
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Rhonda
Hi @rho_ran_experian -- sorry we couldn’t circle back to this one -- what I would do is filter the entire rule down to the 1 record that you are expecting to land in a specific area - meaning, filter the data fetch at the very beginning of the rule - leave everything else as is.
Test run the rule to make sure that the record isn’t dropping out in an earlier merge step or other place, then start assessing why it doesn’t match up with the criteria.
Hope that helps!
Hi @sdrostgainsightcom
I have already done that. I see the records I would expect to pull through with that logic in the final merge step that the action it running off of. I guess I will put in a ticket and see if anyone can help me with this.
Thanks,
Rhonda
Got it - if you can’t get an answer from Support, jump on tomorrow’s office hours session and we’ll track it down - I’ll get the post up later today @rho_ran_experian
