How to sync a SFDC to an MDA object AND then link the MDA object to a CTA rule so that the CTA is tied to said record of the MDA (Basically in GS NXT, how do we re-create the OOTB Gainsight SFDC of linking a SFDC Object to a CTA) - I am getting stuck with associating the Record ID attribute in the CTA Rule

How do I schedule a monthly Program to run based on a field with a numerical value (1 to 6)? Use case: run a survey program every 2nd Tuesday of January and July, to participants where value is 1 (and Feb/Aug if 2, Mar/Sep if 3, and so on and so forth.

Hi Scott,

I’m trying to sync data back to SFDC via a Connector job and keep getting an error message when adding the destination. “Please map mandatory fields(s) “Name”. I’m using the SFDC 18 Character Id as the identified and sending over the NPS score. I can add account name and it allows me to set the destination, but I don’t understand why. In theory I can use name in conjunction with the SFDC Id as Identifiers because the daily rules should keep the Name updated. Also if I add name and save the job I get an error while saving the direct mapping regarding the 18 Character SFDC Id not supported for upsert key.

Thanks,

Sean

Scott,

Adding a Value to existing dropdown field

  • Added new value, “Lifeline” to drop down field within Salesforce/Gainsight Client Type.
  • Verified new value is present in Salesforce Account/Gainsight Client Type (multi select)
  • Data Management/Dropdowns, added value “Lifeline” to Gainsight Client Type (multi select)
  • Ran Connectors sync for PickList Sync_Availity and then for Company Sync_Availity
  • Created Report, Lifeline Salesforce Accounts, Source Account
  • Show Me: captures Gainsight Client Type – “Lifeline”
  • Filter does not show the Lifeline field as an option

Connectors/PickList Sync_Availity

  • After the PickList Sync_Availity job is run
  • Verify under Activities, job is a Success
  • Success Count shows 7
  • There are more than 7 Dropdown Objects
  • Review filter within report and the value of “Lifeline” is not captured under the Gainsight dropdown.

What am I missing in order to get the new Gainsight Client Type value of Lifeline to show up as a selection within report/filters?

Thank you,

Di

Hi Scott,

What are the differences in syncing CSQLs to the Leads object vs. the Opportunity object? There’s plenty of documentation on Leads, but not much on Opportunities. We are trying to introduce CSQLs but primarily work from Opportunities with cross sell/upsell events. What does it look like when syncing? What are the options?
