Hi Scott,

We have a Gainsight Home widget built off the Call-To-Action object that has transparent colors. I’ve looked around but am unsure how to change this.

Hi Scott,

I want to give some non-admin users the ability to ingest data into Gainsight without having to give them admin access. This is what I’m thinking… but what would you recommend?

  1. Create a custom S3 bucket that is only for these users and does not mix with the content of the Gainsight-managed S3 bucket
    • Is this complicated?
    • Does this cost anything additional?
    • Any gotchas to watch out for?
    • When I refresh a sandbox, does the custom S3 bucket config also get automatically configured in the sandbox?
    • Share custom S3 bucket Cyberduck connection details w/ the users

  2. Create ingest rules that read specific CSV files from the custom S3 bucket
    • Schedule the rules to run every X hours
    • They’ll fail often as most times there will be no files to process, I’m ok with that
    • Question: If users drop multiple files that all match the pattern the rule is looking for, how will the rule behave?
      • Will it process one file or all files that match the pattern in a single run?
      • If more than 1 file, will it process them in a specific, deterministic order?

  3. How can I notify the users that their data has been loaded w/o having to go check myself every time?

Hi Scott,

The recommendation to use calculated fields from last Office Hours session was a step in the right direction to get the in program evaluate step to work.

However, it is still pulling out Survey Responses at the 2nd branch and creating a CTA that should flow to the final Branch with No action.

I’ve tried adjusting my calculated fields and logic and I cannot figure out why this is happening. Would love to have another set of eyes on it to see where I’m going wrong.

Thanks!

Kelsey

Hi Scott,

I am in the process of creating Relationship Scorecards for our 5 Modules (Ticketing, Facilities, Assets, Events and HRSD). Each Relationship/Module has 4 CS Tiers (Tier 1, 2a, 2b and 3). This means we will have 20 Relationship Scorecards.

The problem is that Gainsight allows a max of 10 Scorecards per Relationship Type. Is there a way to increase the amount from 10 to 20? If not, is there a workaround that you recommend?

Thank you,

Kellie
