Hi Scott, We are trying to import a csv file from S3 bucket into Gainsight and we need help on how to get started.


Hi Scott, I need help with the following items:

  1. Horizon rule action (CTA owner and/or status update) - the #s reported by the execution log don’t make sense to me. Going into the action I have X records, but the action results show Pass < X, Fail 0. How do I find out which records were not updated and why? I have a rule that I already executed and can show the execution history with actual #s.
     
  2. Obsoleting one success plan type for another. I want to convert any Open/Draft plans from type X to type Y. This doesn’t seem possible by updating the existing plan, instead a new plan must be created with the correct plan type (?). However, the Timeline history of the original plan is “left behind” in the old plan which I intend to automatically close. I also want to preserve the objectives / tasks and current status, which seems overly complex if I have to create a new plan from the old one.

    Bionic rules don’t even allow creating / updating plans at all, from what I can tell, so all I’ve experienced and written above is based on Horizon rules.

Hi Scott,

I have a question on the Activity sync rule that we talked about last week.  We decided to update the Status field in SF using a rule.  I have created that but now need to figure out how best to set the run time.  Activities are set to sync every 2 hours so we would like this update to the Status field to be made as soon after the activity has been created as possible, but  I don’t want the rule to keep checking ones where the Status has already been updated to Not Started.

When 2 customer accounts are merged, what happens to the Timeline Activities, CTAs, Plans, relationships, company-level scorecards and relationship-level scorecards of both accounts - the survivor and the victim?

My team and I are working on Event triggers for CTAs in the Journey Orchestrator and had some questions about it. We were wondering if you might be able to help us out with the following 2 things:
 
1) Use an Event trigger within Gainsight. that is triggered by a Milestone event from a CSM action, to trigger the JO to send a CTA to the ops team.
2) Use an Event trigger, that is triggered by a survey response in Pendo, to trigger a JO program and send a CTA to the ops team.
 
We're not too familiar with how the Events framework works so any insight is much appreciated. Thank you!
