Is there an API of any kind that an external system can use to extract data from Gainsight?

From the documentation I’ve reviewed, there doesn’t appear to be anything like that available.  We have APIs that can be used to load data into Gainsight either by bulk load or the GS API, but I don’t see the other direction as an option.

I know we can use Journey Orchestrator or Rules Engine to push data via a Custom Connection to an external API and that’s not applicable in our use case.

Hi Spencer!

We recently implemented Surveys 2.0 for our NPS survey and I ran into a few issues with following the documentation to add the responses to the R360. When I add the ‘surveys’ section to the R360 and check a relationship that I know has survey responses there are none there. I suspect it may because the survey type selected upon creation was not relationship. As a workaround, I added an associated object report, however am unable to map by relationship. Looking for the best way to get relationship level survey feedback on the R360 working from what we’ve got.

Hello,

In the upcoming release with Gainsight archiving Email logs and Email Raw Events after 12mo /6mo  how will that impact reporting if we have long running JOs? Are we still able to report on data that is archived in the S3 bucket in our existing reports ?

Wanted to follow up on the creating the rule/data designer for reporting on the COUNT of CTA’s by Account. Having issues with the configuration following the link you had sent over last week by Elliot.

@spencer_engel , I’ll be joining late today.  Please start with the other requests.  Thanks.

We are trying to build a journey that surveys users based on their original account activation date. This means we only want to consider the activation month and day (not year) so that we can survey them twice annually based on that date. We currently don’t have business modeler and our accounts have multiple sub-accounts with differing activation dates. If we include the activation dates of the sub-accounts in our daily account API export would we be able to build our journeys accordingly? Would we need to export the date without the year to achieve our end goal? Will we still find ourselves at a stand still unless we have business modeler/relationships implemented?

I want my sentiment from my timeline activities to update my CSM sentiment in Scorecard automatically.  I tested it this afternoon and it did not seem to be wokring properly.  Can you help me troubleshoot it?

Hi Sam, I checked with our product team and also confirmed in the release notes, that the old data will be stored in your S3 bucket, meaning you can still access it. You will have to rebuild your reports, but with data designer, you can combine the old data in S3 with the newer email data still in the MDA and contain it in one object. Let me know if that helps. @SamHarrington
