Hi Scott - we're trying to add dependent multi-select dropdowns to fields in the Attributes tab of R360, mapped to a single-select controller dropdown. We're not seeing the dependent field options showing and looking for guidance to see what we may be missing or if the functionality we're wanting doesn't exist.

Attached are 2 screenshots to illustrate and I've briefly reviewed this article as a guide:

Hi Scott,

I’m trying to exclude some company records from a JO query, but I must be doing something wrong because it isn’t working.   I would appreciate you taking a look at it with me.

Rhonda

Hi Scott,

Hope you are doing good.

I want to send 2 reminder emails from JO when there is no response and I am not able to figure out how to do it from the program that I have in place. So if you could kindly advise that would be great. Thanks.

Rishabh

Hello @tim.carwheel !

Good to meet you on the call today.

Unfortunately, it looks like editing a query on a published Dynamic JO Program is slated for our Q1 release (March/April), not the release that rolls out this weekend, so we will have to look at alternative workarounds.

Uploading a CSV exclusion file is an option - especially if you need a near-term fix before the next scheduled run, but it’s a manual process and not my favorite approach for the longer term, and depending on the situation.

If you can jump on tomorrow’s Office Hours session at 1pm Central Time, we can take a look at the query you are running and see if we can find a workaround that could get you by until we release this enhancement down the road -- I just posted the thread for it here (Thurs Jan 30 Admin Office Hours)

Let me know if you have any immediate questions!

Best,

Scott Drost, Gainsight

Quick note on the open questions from this session, @rho_ran_experian (and FYI for you as well @tim.carwheel since you are deep in JO right now):

  1. If you add an Exclusion List CSV to an Active JO program (or before you set it to Active/Publish), it will look at the possible new participants that the Query (or DD, or other source) finds when the program refreshes each day/week/etc.  If one of the records that get picked up on that day’s run to start the Program is on the Exclusion list, it goes right to Failed Participants and notes the Exclusion List as the Reason Failed.

  2. I was incorrect on Participants already active in the Program (waiting for a Survey Response, or between steps in the program, for example) -- Exclusion Lists do not impact current participants at all - you have to manually knock off Participants you need to remove.

Hope the info helps!

Scott
