Here is a product update to inform you we have delivered yet another idea related to groups 
.
The idea in question is the following:
One pain point you expressed around private groups was the fact that you were not notified when a user would request to join a private group.
What is new?
Previously community managers had to manually check in Control if there were any pending request to join private groups in order to approve them.
From now on, selected community managers will receive an email for each join request on private groups.
By default, the community manager that created a group will receive the notifications for that group. You can, of course, edit that default setup in the group detail page in Control. You can make sure other community managers (or no one) receive those notifications.
