Hi,

I am trying to create sections in the KC bot to separate types of engagements.

Is this possible? If yes, how?

Yes, you can create sections. Gainsight calls them “categories”. These categories act as folders in the onboarding tab. If not all categories/sections are about onboarding, you can rename the tab.

Create categories. Then select the applicable section for each category and link. Any engagement or link that has no category appears in the main/top-level section and counts towards the %complete (if you show the progress bar).

Hi @Kshitij , can you please elaborate a little more on what’s the use-case and what do you want to achieve using the KC bot ?

In March of 2026 Gainsight announced that Knowledge Center Bot (KC Bot) had been renamed to In-App Hub to reflect the improvements we have made to the feature.
