Is it possible to capture/use Gainsight Events through API’s?

We have both create PageView and create CustomEvent available in our Javascript API. And, we have create CustomEvent in our PX REST API. We also support creating PX Custom Events using our mobile and desktop SDKs.
Is there an additional use case you are hoping to solve?
