Gainsight CC: Expand Category Depth Up to Five Levels in Community and Knowledge Base
Community and Knowledge Base section structures now support up to five nesting levels, so you can build content hierarchies that reflect how your products are actually organized.
Previously capped at three levels, the expanded depth lets admins go from broad product lines all the way down to specific features without disrupting existing structures or requiring any reconfiguration.
Here's What's New
Deeper nesting in Community and Knowledge Base
Build up to five levels of Sections and Categories in both modules. Nest a Section inside an existing Section to extend depth. The behavior of Sections and Categories is unchanged at any level.
Mega menu scales automatically
The mega menu displays recursive flyouts up to five levels, adjusting to your structure without any additional setup.
Full path visibility throughout the experience
The complete content path appears in breadcrumbs, the sidebar navigationtree, and section overview pages as members navigate deeper hierarchies, so nobody gets lost.
Getting Started
No reconfiguration is required. Existing structures are unaffected. To extend your hierarchy, open any Section in Customer Communities Control and nest an additional Section or Category beneath it.
