Gainsight CS Patch Release Update - September 14, 2026
Secure Credentials with Automatic Masking Across Connectors
Gainsight CS protects connection credentials stored in connectors using Key Management Service (KMS) encryption. This security upgrade has been extended to six connectors, ensuring that sensitive fields such as API keys, client secrets, and passwords are encrypted at rest and never re-displayed after being saved.
The following lists the six connectors that now include credential masking and KMS encryption:
- Salesforce
- S3
- Slack
- Databricks
- Snowflake
- DataSphere
IMPORTANT: No disruption to existing connections: All existing connections continue to sync normally. Admins do not need to reconnect or re-enter credentials unless they intend to rotate a secret, or you do not need to reconnect or re-enter credentials unless you intend to rotate a secret.
