This release makes it easier to measure the impact of your in-app experiences and manage the hubs your users rely on. From goal tracking to a redesigned In-App Hub editor, here's what's new.

Here’s What’s New

Measure the business impact of your engagements with Engagement Goals. Engagement Goals lets you define a specific user action and track whether users achieve it within a set time window after interacting with an engagement. Move beyond views and clicks and tie engagements directly to outcomes:

  • Define success criteria using feature or custom events

  • Track completion rates, time to completion, and goal status (Active, Completed, Not Completed) in a new Goals tab

  • Build segments based on goal outcomes for targeted follow-up

Create and manage In-App Hubs faster with the redesigned editor. The new modular In-App Hub editor is now generally available. All existing configurations and content carry over automatically. What's improved:

  • More flexible layout options for building and structuring hubs

  • More precise targeting controls

  • Centralized content management across all hub content

Surface Community content directly inside In-App Hub. The new Community widget lets you display community posts directly within the In-App Hub, giving users a proactive way to discover relevant discussions without relying solely on search:

  • Display the latest community posts directly in the hub

  • Configure the number of posts to show

  • Let users browse posts or navigate to the full community for more

  • Enable users to search and filter community content from within the hub

Getting Started

Engagement Goals and the redesigned In-App Hub editor are available in your PX account now. The Community widget is configurable from the In-App Hub editor under widget settings.

For a full walkthrough of the new editor and what's changed, refer to the In-App Hub (formerly KC Bot) Overview article.

@kcronin Nice to see PX and Community growing closer together. This widget doesn’t have the option to include the full Community federated search within the in-app Hub, right?

@kcronin  I have some feedback to share on each component of the In-app Hub.
The latest editor experience is really great, however:

  1. Can you please clarify on "the latest post gets fetched from the community," is it filtered by published date or last modified date of the content in the community?
  2. Is there a possibility of giving us an option to upload our own branding image for "what to display when there are no results pulled up from the search section"?
  3. We'd like to have a library of onboarding paths that isn't progressive. With the current feature it shows what's next this is great, but like in V1, users should be able to go back to previously completed journeys. With the current configuration it's not possible for a user to open a previously finished guide, and since we have some complex guides it's natural for them to want to revisit or look at that path more than once.
  4. Analytics on the bot search results is not accurate. During my testing, I searched for a term and it fetched few results, but that’s not exactly shown in the analytics.

Hi @Jef Vanlaer - the current Community search on the In-App Hub uses the Search APi of CC and only provides results of the CC content and not the other connected integrations. Having said that, we are working on unifying the search across CC, Skilljar and PX In-App Hub - that would help delivering the federated search experience across the 3 products.

Hi @vineshgvk

  1. The posts that get fetched from the community are based on the recently active posts - users when they view content on In-App Hub have an option to sort content based on newest first

  1. Today there’s no possibility of having customised empty search image. Could you share the empty screen that you would like to show, so that we can evaluate this ask?
  2. If a user has completed a task, then using “View All” they can still visit the previous step. In the case that you are describing, is it that the entire task list has been completed and user is not able to visit them again - and you would like to provide an option for the user to go back to already completed full set of task lists?
  3. Please raise a support ticket - and we will get it checked.

Thanks

Abhilash

Thank you, @aharkut . Looking forward to this!
