What is a rank icon and what is a username icon?

When you are setting up new ranks or if you are reviewing your current rank structure, you might ask yourself what rank & username icons are and what they do.

In the end, this is a question of your personal preference. Both icons are displayed in the same pages. So use whatever you think looks better, or use both!

Note: As the rank icon sits in front of the Avatar of a user, you should not use a transparent icon, otherwise it might be hard to see depending on the Avatar used.
