Under current performance, the Gong Integration Meeting Sync will merge Gong Meetings with existing Timeline Activities, if the merge conditions are met (Access Gong Activities - Gainsight Inc.). Additionally, the Activity Type of the existing activity will be updated as the type configured in the Gong Integration Settings (Meeting by default > Configure Gong Integration Settings - Gainsight Inc.).
This is a hindrance, because Admins cannot dictate any Activity Type they would like excluded from the Gong merge, or if they would like the Activity Type of the existing activity to remain unchanged. We should implement further control over the merge, as has already been brought up in the community previously.
Please consider this with priority.
