Pulling this suggestion out from another post from
Allow end user to select a template(s) to apply to a Success Plan when the Success Plan is being created (rather than having them Create the success plan and then go apply templates after the fact).
The extra step of applying a template is a burden to end users that should be a dropdown option in the create new Success Plan screen after selecting the Type. Much like how Playbook is an option for CTAs after selecting the Type.

Thanks for sharing this idea. This is something we have plans to implement, but not immediately. Also on this flow, do you have the need for users to apply multiple templates at once?
