When using the BCC to timeline feature, is it possible to create a contact in Gainsight that then maps to Salesforce? Or does the contact always have to originate in SFDC?

For example, let's say I go to email a new contact at a client account and I have the BCC to timeline email address BCCed and in the "To" field is the new contact. This will then save as a Draft in the activities section in Gainsight because the contact is not yet tied to an account. So from this section, is there a way to create a new contact that will then map back to SFDC?

The BCC to Timeline looks for contacts in the Gainsight Person object, which can (but don’t have to be) SFDC contacts.

I haven’t done this myself, but in theory, I believe you could add the contact in the Person object and build a rule that fetches from Person and loads to SFDC Contacts. We have a rule that goes the other way around (fetches from SFDC Contacts and loads to Gainsight Person).
