Hi Scott - 

We talked a week or two ago about trying to report on an SFDC managed package that contains Community information. I’ve done some more digging, and now I’d like to see if you could help be the bridge between me and our SFDC admin, who is able to login as the Oauth user for that package but is still having trouble seeing the object(s) in question. Hopefully will only take 5-10 minutes. Thanks!

Hi Scott- 

We are trying to optimize one of the process that is part connected to our instance of Gainsight.

Use case: We have a system that takes an entry from the user, and then we port the data from that system to Gainsight in MDA using S3. 

The only unique thing from the other system: Generating a sequential number that becomes a record ID in Gainsight for our internal reference.

My thought on solution: We create a report in C360 section using that Custom object, and users can click ADD record to add the entry, completely eliminating the use of the other system and data transfer.

Bottleneck: Generate a unique incremental sequential number when a user clicks on ADD record in C360 section for that record. Can this be achieved via some formula or calculated field?
