Hi Scott,

Hope you are well.

I just have a follow-up question about that Escalation email being changed to Second Reminder email.

Will that 2nd email go only when there is no response to initial email and 1st reminder email, or will that 2nd reminder email go to all participants regardless whether there is a response or not from initial email or 1st reminder email?

Best,
Rishabh

Hey Scott, hoping you can give me some guidance with Data Permissions, and specifically with Inheritance rules. I’m trying to apply the same data permissions I have set on the Relationship table to sub-objects such as CTAs and Timeline. But when I apply the settings as I believe they should be set, my test user loses all access to the object.

Clearly I’m doing something wrong here. Hoping you can help set me straight. Thanks!

I’m trying to get the right cohort for triggering NPS based on duration of time between start date and current date but am having trouble finding the right calculation to account for the circular nature of calendar dates.

Hi Scott.  I would like to understand how the option in a rule setup for “Convert to Picklist” and “Map to MDA Dropdown List”.  I need a better way to ensure that new picklist values added to a dropdown get mapped in the rules that use that dropdown.  I’m wondering if that is what this function helps with.  If not, I’d like your advice on a good way to manage this.

To expand on this and clarify @sdrostgainsightcom I need to send an NPS 3 months from created date and every 6 months thereafter (so 3rd and 9th month from created date). I have two fields on the company Created Date by Month (#) and Today’s Month (#).

Taking this month as an example (2), I need to return accounts with a created date 3 months prior or 6 months after. So accounts with 11 (November) and August (8).

Hey @sdrostgainsightcom. Thanks for your time yesterday. It was great to chat again.

Just checking in to see if you have had a chance to track down the issue I’m running up against with inheritance and data permissions.

Thanks again,

Jordan

Hi Scott. Getting my question in before the Feb 6 session which has not been posted yet. I need help debugging a Horizon rule. I’m updating the Company object. In the test run, the action branch says it should update over 300 records, but the action result is 1 PASS and 0 FAIL. Result is same for test run in sandbox and in production. Not sure if I’ve got something wrong or if I need to log a support case.

 Hi @kelly  -

Finally had the chance to think it through a bit and the solution isn’t too big a lift with those fields already there.

After you fetch all your Company records with those 2 fields, add a Transform task.

Add a formula field (call it “MonthCompare” or something) that subtracts Today’s Month# from Start Month#.

Then add another Transform to filter for only where MonthCompare = 3, 9, -3, or -9.

Screenshots below - let me know if you have any questions!

Hi @jordan_cook -- was good to connect again, yes!  I have not been able to fully vet the Permissions issue yet, but plan to figure it out tomorrow and I will let you know!
